Kusum Ghildiyal

Kusum Gidliyal a Masters in Sociology, is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of dedicated experience in rural development across Uttarakhand. Currently serving as Secretary at the Society for Environment and Development in Dehradun, Kusum has made significant contributions in areas such as water, sanitation, and hygiene (WaSH), disaster management, gender mainstreaming, health literacy, livelihood development, Panchayati Raj, and natural resource management.

Her expertise extends to her role as a Master Trainer with the Disaster Management Department, Panchayat Raj Department, and Jal Jeewan Mission.

Additionally, Kusum has been the State Convener of the Inter Agency Group (IAG) in Uttarakhand and the Mountain Collective since 2011, showcasing her leadership and commitment to enhancing community resilience and development.
